What do I hope to achieve out of thisproject?
Crossing Bass Strait for me is both a challenge of my limits and also a way of attracting the media's attention to raise funds and awareness for the Tasmanian devil.
Why support the Tasmanian devil?
The Tasmanian devil is widely regarded as Tasmania's unofficial mascot. With over 50% of the population affected by the disease and its recent listing on the endangered species list, something has to be done to help this famous Tassie icon.
What motivates me?
I am motivated by life. Every morning brings a new day, each being an opportunity make a difference in the place we live in. I derive a lot of my motivation through my heart to help others in life. In a sense this motivation is reflected through my desire to help the Tasmanian devil.
