What do I hope to achieve out of this project?

I want three main goals for this project. The first is to raise public awareness of the Tassie devil's plight, the second is to enable a way for the public and business to support the devil, while the last is to make a record crossing of Bass Strait in a sail boat.

Why support the Tasmanian devil?

One of my earliest memories as a young child is holding a baby devil at Bonarong Animal Wildlife Park, Brighton. Like many Tasmania's, I want my kids to be able to have the same experiences.

What motivates me?

I've travelled to sixteen different countries and lived 2 years of my adult life overseas. Every time I get home I become more and more aware of the amazing gift we have in Tasmania's rich natural heritage. I see myself, as I believe all Tasmanian's should, as a steward of this heritage and this gives me all the motivation I need to help save the devil.
