Scamander is
located on the upper east coast of Tasmania on the shores of
the Scamander River mid way between St Marys and St Helens. It
is noted for its sea fishing and surf beaches. Falmouth is
a small town 6 kms south of Scamander affording excellent coastal
views and a "blowhole" that is spectacular when the
surf is up.
